Who are we?
Our History:
North Shore Art Therapy Supervision was established twenty years ago when it became clear that there was a shortage of Art Therapists who were offering supervision and mentor-ship. While there were few situations to choose from, the number of therapists both new to the field and seasoned art therapists looking for guidance, was growing. In order to meet this growing demand, NSAT was opened. The goal for this group process is to foster individual and professional growth. Due to the special nature of our field, DeeDee is uniquely qualified to supervise creative arts therapists with her 50 years of commitment to the field. She is also one of the few Certified Supervisors in the Creative Arts (ATCS) in the New York area.
Services:
Professional Supervision for the Art Therapist:
Small group and individual supervision for the Art Therapist for ATR and New York State Licensure.
Master Supervision for the Art Therapist with five or more years of experience in the field.
Supervision sessions take place in a beautiful and fully equipped studio space which is tranquil and private.
This atmosphere lends itself to creativity and deep personal work.
